Flash movie looks fine in Flash CS3, lousy in export

I have a simple movie which just consists of a bunch of text layers that fade in (alpha value goes from X to 100% for each layer).

It looks fine in Flash, but when I export:

  • Text is choppy-looking
  • The tween don’t work, the text just goes from 0% to 100% in one frame.

Ideas?

Thx,

have you embedded your fonts?
If not, do so. That’s the most likely cause

I embedded the font, but it looks the same.

Here is the .fla file, zipped.

It may depend on what program you used to export it?

I had the same problem with such a program when I would download videos from the YOU. Only the numbers on my credit card could fix the problem. So you may have to pay for it.

I see you’re using dynamic textfields. Try changing them to static textfields, and it should work.
Static textfields = your font will automatically be embedded when exporting.

Static text did the trick. Thanks!

You’re welcome

oops, sorry I didn’t check back sooner, glad you got it sorted
