I am trying to capture the microphone data and store the audio file in the server.
what are the option except the media server? using flash.
Is there any alternate option for flash to escape the extra media server.

Currently I think you can only capture raw microphone data within the air 2.0 runtime rather than using a web served swf. There are quite a few rtmp server alternatives to FMIS that will allow recording of mic data e.g red5, haxevideo
