Fix for disk full usage issue ,error establishing a database connection

Due to this below issues

disk full issue ,error establishing a database connection

my site constantly goes down is there way to fix the issue

For a PHP problem, we need to see the relevant PHP code.

Though “disk full” sounds like a memory problem. What is the limit and what percent is free?

If this is disk full on your live site, you probably need to talk to your hosting company.

thy said they will have to manually add disk to fix dis which i dnt believe

how can i check that[quote=“Mittineague, post:2, topic:305038, full:true”]

I’m assuming a shared host with no access to the INFORMATION_SCHEMA tables, but your host should be providing you access to some of the data through your control panel, no?

Every shared hosting I’ve ever used with cPanel has a “disk usage” indicator.

And how much disk space does your hosting account allow you?

unlimted

The chart you uploaded seems to suggest there is a limit for public_html (although I may have misinterpreted that).

That looks odd. Around a third of a gigabyte seems a rather arbitrary limit, and if the blue bar is close to being accurate it looks like the limit is ~6Gb.

Any chance you have a lot of database backups that aren’t getting cycled off and aren’t being displayed as usage but are being counted as usage?

I’m not seeing how a full public html would give a db connection error, but maybe?

As for “unlimited”, I don’t think it means the same to hosts as what it means to everyone else in the world. If you read the small print you’ll probably find something like “unlimited means within reasonable amounts” or some such nonsense.

Are you sure that’s unlimited disk space, not unlimited bandwidth?

Hello
Checked your screenshot.
All your files are okay except the error_log Just delete this file. As its showing usage of 34.33MB.
You have download it before Delete for be in the safe side anyways.

And in your wordpress admin panel. check for the plugins option. Delete unwanted plugings.
Delete only those which are not in use.

Hope that helps.

I’ve already delted log file ,but still its same 28 plugins r active

how do i find database backups?

ya both r unlimited

You have obviously been in touch with your host as you said they said they would need to manually add disk. Can you get them to explain what the problem is given that you have unlimited disk quota? It certainly appears that you don’t have unlimited quota for public_html. :upside_down_face:
