Hi ranaassi56 welcome to the forum

AFAIK ActiveX is pretty much a Windows only thing and IE 11 at that. So I have a strong feeling you’ll need to write a lot of code.

http://php.net/manual/en/intro-whatcando.php

Writing desktop applications. PHP is probably not the very best language to create a desktop application with a graphical user interface, but if you know PHP very well, and would like to use some advanced PHP features in your client-side applications you can also use PHP-GTK to write such programs. You also have the ability to write cross-platform applications this way. PHP-GTK is an extension to PHP, not available in the main distribution. If you are interested in PHP-GTK, visit » its own website.

I would take that “probably not” as a suggestion that you should consider developing in a language other than PHP
But if you really want to go with PHP the first step would be to set up the PHP-GTK extension on your dev server and get the feel for things

I dont understand what do you mean exactly, i need to develobe a website application not desktop but i have to read the fingerprint using the reader that has integration in active x so i need to read the fingerprint using php
If you can help me or if you can give me any advice please reply.

A quick Google search came up with the suggestion to use http://cn.php.net/manual/en/class.com.php with active x and php

Thanks Rubble, that is a much better link.

http://cn.php.net/manual/en/com.requirements.php

Requirements
COM functions are only available for the Windows version of PHP.
.Net support requires PHP 5 and the .Net runtime.

So the starting point would be to get your dev setup working if you haven’t done so yet.
