Just wondering if creating good Notes via Facebook pages is worth it for SEO purposes? I have seen a lot of Facebook business pages create several notes with links in them to their official website. I am wondering if this is a good SEO practice? I see that the notes show up on Google searches and Facebook gives you an option to make them searchable.
Anyone use this practice with good results?

For the most part, any link to your website from Facebook is going to be less than useful. Unless they’re linking to your social network related material from their home page, it’s not going to carry much weight. Notes on an individual company or personal page are the same story. There is so much material and so many links that to have one more to your website from there is not going to make a difference for your ranking position.
That being said, having new content linked on Facebook will dramatically increase the rate of crawling for that new content. So if you have something that you’re trying to get indexed quickly, posting it to Facebook (Notes or otherwise) is a good idea.
Facebok is not good for SEO as they provide only nofollow links. They do help in getting some traffic if you have a right strategy for your business on social networks.
