How are you all…I am looking for an opinion from you guys.what you think which networking website is the best facebook or orkut?? and do any of you use orkut???

Yes I agree with others, facebook is the best… But for your business, I will suggest to also add twitter… It is good to publish your updates to your customers and followers :slight_smile:

I agree. Facebook is really the best option. It’s flexibility really makes things nice. Plus you can be friends with people without having to be subjected to their constant farmville spam or ridiculous status updates (via the hide button)!

Am using both facebook and orkut.I think Facebook is better than orkut .

Facebook is the best. B’coz -

  1. From an overall cosmetic point of view, Facebook is a much more professional looking whereas Orkut looks somewhat unfinished

  2. Facebook’s Mini Feed feature is useful in seeing a quick snapshot on the latest happenings within your network

  3. The ease at which you can customize layouts within FaceBook, especially the drag and drop option.

  4. The ability to supply how you know a person (through school, other friends, work, randomly, etc…). This is especially interesting when you and one your contacts know the same person, but through different ways.

  5. Fan page is the very helpful for gather your knowledge.

Orkut is fairly popular outside the US. Inside the US, MySpace and Facebook are the heavy hitters.

Facebook is very popular now compare the orkut. So i think facebook is better.

Orkut is good. I just don’t use it that much. But, I would say Facebook, and Facebook fan pages are the way to go =)

Depends where you are outside the US. I’m in Australia and don’t know anyone who uses Orkut.
