Hi all,
I have a previously posted news on a Facebook page. It includes a youtube linked video. After a while, for some unknown reason, facebook skips over that particular post and dowsn’t show it. Any idea why?

I’ve noticed the same thing with some of my posts that have some sort of link to video or a graphic. I’ve just gone back and re-posted at a different time & then it seems to come up, but I find it very annoying.
Can you re-post so that it appears with the same time as the original? Or, you post as if it’s today’s update having toady’s date?
I’ve never tried to post it with the same time as the original. I’ve only ever done it the next day, but just hit “share to your timeline” & it comes up with the new date at the top. I’m not sure how you could get the original date on it.

Did you try to look at it, when you were logged out?
I have experienced the same problem. Posts with video and images simply disappeared, when I was logged in my account, but they were all back there, when I was looking from another. Logging out actually helped.
I’ll try that tonight. There was one that I posted 2ce…on my own wall & then talked with a friend to tell her about it via phone…thought it would be helpful to her. She couldn’t find it, nor could I. I hope it’s solved this simply, I’d hate to think FB was just deciding what to post & what not to post at whim.

you can’t say it doesn’t show previously posted news. it can show the news just you should have to go to activity log for that and search. then it will show you all the details regarding your post

There’s a possibility that Facebook deleted your post. I think it has to do with copyright issues. Have you tried contacting Facebook?
This thread is three months old and the OP has never returned. There seems little point in reviving it now.
