Are you talking about new user signups? I’m not sure I’m following what you’re saying. [/B]
Sorry, let me try to explain.
I signed up for Everyone.net before they suspended new webmaster sign ups.
Eversince, I have continued promoting my email service. I regularly check the user count for my email service and it has been growing steadily. But lately, there would times when I login and the user count is lower than what it was a few days before.
As I write this, I wonder if this may be the result of automatic account deletions for inactive user accounts. - I’ll have to look into it.
For now, I was just curious if other EVERYONE.NET users have experienced amything similar to this.
I used to have everyone.net as well (and still do for email), but I have not monitored enough to notice fluctuations. If they deleted for inactive accounts, I’d have very few. Although I signed up days ago, when they pretty much gave everything away for free.
With a massive rise in new users, I decided to move to Invision… a lot more control, so much faster, and no annoying pop-under ads (no more amazing X-Cam or Orbitz ads for me).
A friend set it up, and it works great, but I’m still trying to figure out how to add a bunch of the bells & whistles. If you start getting a sharp rise in traffic on your boards, I suggest upgrading.
