Easiest way to sell ad space directly?

Hello,

I am currently using Google AdSense and Commission Junction, and I also sell some ads directly but I would like to do so in a more efficient way.

The way I do it now is not very “streamlined”. Those who want to advertise need to contact me by filling a form, then we move on from there using email, and then they pay using bank transfer or check.

Is there any better way to do this that would require less work from me. I wouldn’t mind a “middle man” company that would take a few dollars per successful transaction and deal with everything. The only thing I want to do is approve the ads and receive the money.

Have you looked into ad serving softwares/scripts. That may work for you. Either that or I think you’ll have to get some scripting coded or something.

If the script is to incorporate payments is should be some kind of ecommerce solution. I would prefer if there was some other company that would deal with it, including taking the payments.

I am glad you have asked this question as i have a prime spot on my FileHosting site that is currently used for large adbrite advert but i am thinking about selling this slot exactly as you are thinking about.The amount i have in mind is about $30-40 a month for a high profile advert which i think is great value.
What i was thinking of doing is as puting a contact here button to place your advert on the site,its a pity that a script is not available to add to sites offering advertising space.
