Dropdown Menu above Flash!

Hi All,

I have a problem with a dropdown nav appearing below flash in IE and Firefox. I have added wmode=“transparent” to the object, and applied z-index’s but to no avail!

the URL is http://www.camwebdev1.co.uk/baconv5/

If anyone can point out what I’m doing wrong I’d be so grateful.

Many thanks

Hey there,
Have u checked the z-index properties of both the flash movie container and the dropdown menu. Try setting the navigation holder z-index to a very high number and hopefully the problem will go away. Either way the nav must have a higher z-index than the flash movie.

Did you add wmode="transparent to the embed element also.

<embed width="652" height="237" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="sameDomain" name="flash" bgcolor="#ffffff" quality="high" src="/baconv5/templates/homepage/flash/hp-feature_1.4.swf" wmode="transparent">

Thank you Paul, that has worked a treat :slight_smile: Sorry for the late reply!
