Please help, I have a website that offers a variety of products,but the only way to access the site is by entering the address directly into the main menu bar.Does anyone have any suggestions about how I can get it listed with the directories,or how I can give it a domain name with maybe a link that would automatically take visitors to the main web page? I have an autoresponder account that I might be able to use. Thanks for being patient with me Im still pretty new at this.chuckp:confused:
Have you considered getting it listed in search engines? 
I suggest to read the google webmaster guidelines, it gives some good infos. on how to get your site more search engine friendly…
I’m intrigued. Do you mean that no search engines recognise your website? If so, the first step is to find out why not, and fix that.
What is the URL now? What kind of setup do you imagine would allow you to have a domain that forwards to that web page, that would be easier than using (a) that web page, or (b) that domain?
Right. The poster might be clueless about his job. and he seems new about it. Well, i guess if we used terms that you didn’t heard before, you might be confused. Well, first off, you need to read the basics of SEO, understand its goal and purpose before you start doing the off-page stuff.

You can submit your site to SE to make your site crawled, indexed and cached and to visit by searchers:
You can submit your site to BING, [URL=“http://www.addurlyahoo.com/”]Yahoo and [URL=“http://www.google.com/addurl/”]Google.
You can also submit your site to Dmoz, and other web directories for free or you can create a fan page to Facebook.
