Domain is blacklisted: claim Godaddy

hi,

At nov. 2008 i transfered one of my domains (just domain, w/o any website, w/o any parking page, etc) from Estdomain (hope you remember this registrart) to my account in Godaddy.

I bought this domain, and never use it, as don’t have enough time for it.

Today i try to manage this domain, and discover for me that godaddy suspend this domain.

The ****.net domain name was suspended for violating Section 5 of Go Daddy’s Universal Terms of Service and Section 7 of Go Daddy’s Domain Name Registration agreement.
Go Daddy discovered that the ***.net domain name has been listed in the Spamhaus.org blacklist. Go Daddy can also be blacklisted by Spamhaus as a result of your actions which jeopardizes the level of service and connectivity Go Daddy provides to our other customers.

My first reaction … it’s impossible.
My servers aren’t hacked during last 2-3 years, and i never violate any rule, which can be the reason of this/spam, scam, etc/. Also as i said, i even don’t use this domain … just keep for “good times”.

So, i visit Spamhaus.org and try their “Blocklist Removal Center”. It was very interesting when i discover that my domain isn’t even blacklisted.

Here is output from spamhaus

The main is that
**** is not listed in the DBL
http://www.spamhaus.org/query/dbl?domain=****.net

I inform godaddy’s abuse department, and as response they send me screenshot of this page Domains served by their dnsbakler.com/bakler.com DNS servers .

Yes, my domain is in this list, but what this mean ? How it’s possible that domain which even didn’t been online (before i purchased) was blacklisted.

Or … is it mean, that domain is blacklisted, if my domain is in this list ? In this way why spamhaus claim “****.net is not listed in the DBL

Need advice ?
I don’t know how to contact spamhaus and clarify this situation.

Any advice will be appreciated.

P.s. As i understand, this spam-person from spamhaus is one of the Estdomain’s owners.

Maybe the previous owner of the domains may have violated some rules and may have been blacklisted. I suggest that you provide both the Registrars WHOIS records for them to reverify the facts and remove your domain from their blacklist.

Search on Google with your domain and ICANN. Just to see if there was any legal issues with the domain.

I would try other major search engines too. And search with just the domain name alone to see if it has been reported at sites for virus.

There isn’t any previous owner. I’m the first one, who register this domain (check it via archive.org and google). SO this domain don’t have any history (carefully search in yahoo and google)

remove your domain from their blacklist

I must repeat … spamhaus don’t report this domain as blacklisted - it’s white domain

The main is that
**** is not listed in the DBL

But this fact isn’t important for Godaddy -

Any Go Daddy customer that violates Go Daddy’s abuse policies must choose one of these options if they wish to resolve the situation. Your Spamhaus blacklisting is particularly troubling due to the possibility that other Go Daddy customers could be affected. These options are not negotiable. The fees cannot be reduced or waived.

Hmm …
Spamhaus claim that this domain isn’t blacklisted
Godaddy claim, that it’s blacklisted

and there isn’t any way to contact Spamhaus and clarify this situation - "If domain blacklisted go to “Blocklist Removal Center”. But if domain isn’t blacklisted - you don’t have any way to contact … “Very Nice”.

Search on Google with your domain and ICANN. Just to see if there was any legal issues with the domain.

I would try other major search engines too. And search with just the domain name alone to see if it has been reported at sites for virus.

As i said i try 2-3 mayor . .there isn’t any word about this domain. BIt for Godaddy is more important that this domain is listed in this list -Domains served by their dnsbakler.com/bakler.com DNS servers :frowning:

That is the only possible variant as for me.

Dear SiberForum

How to remove domain from blacklist, if this domain isn’t blacklisted.
I repeat it 100 times -

SpamHaus -> Blocklist Removal Center ->Domain Lookup ->Enter a Domain Name - > lookup

OutPut -> ***.net is not listed in the DBL

That is the only possible variant as for me.

IMHO here can be another variant too

Correct me - is it possible or no !

I registrate this domain 2 years ago from Estdomains. Looks like that i didn’t change any dns, so domain use default dns servers of this registrar. … so default landing page of this registrar.

After 6 months, i decide to change registrar (if you remember estdomains have huge problems with ICANN, and ICANN initiated that De-Accredited Registrar Transition Procedure), so i transfer this domain to godaddy.

Unfortunately i don’t sure, after tranfer did i chang dns servers or no ?
As i didn’t use any domain landing service and haven’t any website on it … may be i forgot to change estdomains default nameservers.

Regarding Google they suspend my domain at may 2009, after 5-6 months after that transfer, (when spamhaus report that list of hosted sites).

There isn’t any way to contact spamhaus and clarify the situation.
Google suggest only 2 ways: pay $75 and transfer this domain or wait when it expire.

and of course I don’t going to pay $75 for it .

At Namecheap, once the domain expires, you have 30 days to renew it. Then, it goes into a 60 day period when you can purchase it for $200. After that, anyone can pick it up for the regular price. I’ve always thought the system is a bit weird, but I suspect that most registrars do the same.

I neglected to renew one of my own domains last year. I didn’t catch it until it was in that $200 period. I just waited, and picked it up the day after that period expired. That might work for you.
