Does an iPad2 with WiFi-only connectivity purchased in the US work with the WiFi networks in Australia?
What about the iPad2 with AT&T and Verizon connectivity?
Wifi will work the world over AFAIK. Not sure what the details of the verzion iPad2 are, but if it doesn’t carry a 2nd “SIM” slot for the GSM functionality as verzion’s CDMA network isn’t ROTW friendly. AT&T units can have some frequency issues depending on where you go, but you aren’t fighting protocol issues – just about everywhere has a GSM network. Not that I’d want to – if you buy up-front, data costs about $1/mb at best.
