Does the Panda update effects in normal off-page optimization

Does the Panda update effects in normal off-page optimization? Like people used to submit articles and PR in various article and PR directories in a day. Will it be possible now? Is there any restriction on number of submissions per day?

Panda update mainly has been responsible for removal of webpages/websites with absolutely garbage content from the search engine index. This has got nothing to do with the PR or link submissions or for that matter any off-page activity.

Yes… Now I submit one article in one directory.

NO there is no impact of panda update for the off-page optimization unless your content is unique. You must be aware of the quality of content and at the same time for submitting articles, press releases, etc. for your websites.

What is, in your eyes, normal off page optimization??

If Panda affects your site, you should work on content, usability, conversion rates and again content.

If your site has high bounce rates, few content and bad usability you would have to struggle Panda with more time and budget than before.
(more links, more quality backlinks, …)

What has that got to do with the Panda algorithm? Panda was all about on-site content; nothing to do with off-site stuff!

Thanks for the valuable replies. All in all Panda update is related with the content of a site, i.e. a real quality and unique content. So as per your expert suggestions, it is better to do very few article/pr submissions a day, like: 2 or 3 numbers. Am I right? Please rectify, if I’m wrong.

choose the some best dofollow articles site and submit one best quality unique article in one article directory and try to promote that article url.

Yes I agree with apoorva09. submit your unique articles in unique directories and try to promote that link in SMO like(Facebook, Twiiter, Linkedin, etc…). By doing this method you can get quality backlinks.

Given that article directories were severely demoted by Panda, care to explain why they are actually a “quality” link? As Facebook, Twiiter, Linkedin are nofollow, care to explain why they are actually a “quality” link?

If we are discussing about quality links, we definitely are not talking about sm-links from facebook (confirmed by google, there is no ranking boost with likes, maybe some very short term effects with shares) twitter (short term boosts but only when you get tweets from tweeters with high authority) linkedin (how many links do you want to build within linkedin???) …

Google-Panda comes to analyze the onsite content uniqueness so it doesn’t affect on OFF PAGE SUBMISSION !!

There is no effect of panda update for the off-page optimization unless your content is unique. You should avoid copying content from anywhere.
