Does document.referrer work for subdomains?

Does document.referrer work for subdomains?

Clicking on a CTA on http://b.sitename.com sends me to http://a.sitename.com where in console, I do not see any value for referror method.

Is there any other way of getting the value of previously visited subdomain page??

Are you using any tools to help keep these records, such as google analytics or something else?
