My questions are from the people who called themselves SEO experts. Just want to know what is the use of building profile links as they don’t pass any PR backlinks.
I’ve created many profile backlinks from HIGH PR websites but while checking backlinks from iwebtool, it shows PR 0 of those websites. It means I’m getting backlinks but PR 0 and I think there is no use of gettin backlinks without any PR.
Is this misconception to me?. Somebody told me if you are building profile to say PR 8 websites, it will give you backlink with PR0.
If I’m wrong, could anyone of you clarify how can we use these high PR profile links to pass some link juice.
I’m not talking about particularly forums. What PR backlinks I’m gonna get if i post comments on a blog of PR 5?.
I think more importantly, people need to stop worrying so much about PR in relation to rankings. Worry more about relevance than getting backlinks from high PR ‘megasites’ - The right anchor text, from a couple high quality, highly relevant sites, is WAY more valuable than 50 links from high PR sites which are off topic or sig / post / self edited links.
first of all, SEO expert no one using tools… check manually… another thing is SEO is not a development work, is a imagine work gushing work ( any one know Google algorithm? )… if you need good result we need to wait some times… quickly we cant get good result… if you got the quick result that is not quality result…
if you comment on 5 PR blog, then you will get benefir of PR 5 , but that link shoud be do-follow else its total waste. Yes you will get traffic but no benefit in link juice
first of all thanks to all who given their time to answer my questions.
Guys what I want to ask is, I’m building profile links and no profile link page has PR less than PR 5. They all have high PR and I just want to know if that page (PR5) giving me PR5 back link or atleast it passing some link juice?
The page that is PR 0 now may increase in pagerank on the next update, so you are not wasting your time. What would be the real time waster is if you are building links to a site that has nothing worthwhile and a high bounce rate.
google updated the PR in three months. you must wait.
And you can try others ways to increase backlinks except building profile links. because I think profile links is no use for your site.
I don’t quite understand what you’re after, at some point you talk about profiles and then you talk about comments on blogs…
Lets start with the profile links. First you need to check whether the link isn’t nofollow, and then the PR of the particular profile pages - which are in most cases 0 regardless of the PR of the frontpage of the site. Your profile page has just been created, so it can’t have a PR yet. And even later on, the links that lead to that profile page are minimal, so again not much PR juice coming on that.
and I think there is no use of gettin backlinks without any PR.
well, that’s not true at all. if the link is from a related site, or a site & page where your potential customers are, and you’re exposing your link to those, and you’re building your brand etc. with comments on related blogs, you’re also starting to build a relationship with said blog, which might be more valuable later on.
this goes all beyond SEO and into the realms of proper marketing (I only barely scratched the surface of what this is all about). SEO without it being incorporated in your overall marketing strategy isn’t worth much.
