DIV image won't show up? Rusty skills

It’s been a long while since I have coded and I am definitely having some problems.

I have a side column labeled “sponsors”; there are two elements: a div “helpMenu”, and an image file. I cannot get the helpMenu image to display. I don’t know why.

If you can, take a look and tell me what’s missing.

I am confuzzeled.

The code. . .

 <h4>Child Prodigy Painter</h4>
 <p>Does the word child prodigy have real meaning these days? Many think that it's just extraordinary talent, almost hiding it's deeper more prophetic resonance.</p>
 <p>I have come across the path of a young woman with blossoming personality named Akiane. Many people have wondered at the beautiful expressions this young passionate child prodigy has painted.</p>
 <p>At the moment she entered this world her mother saw the very gentle yet vehement nature of creation while her water born baby grasped with delicate fingers her pulsing umbilical cord in the presence of her father. </p>

The image is showing up, but your layout is broken.

Where are you trying to position it?

I am just placing it in natural stack order over the prayerSponsor image.

How is the layout broken? The sponsor class is not padded over into the main page so it appears broken unless you see something in the code I do not. The image is “not” showing up. The image would read “Help Menu”. It’s a cap to the ad listings.

Sorry - I thought that was the image you were referring to.

Your problem lies in this line of your CSS:

#helpMenu { url(helpMenu.jpg) no-repeat; width: 245px; height: 68px;}

You’re missing background: before the URL.

I see that the images that I am stacking are displaying a space between the display. This is supposed to be a seamless design. In the latest update you can see the two ads with a space showing through to the back ground. Not sure why this happening. Thanks for looking. I am not quite sure as to the reasons why.

Lol bro… I thought that it was something as simply as this. Great thanks.
