Displaying the site tagline

I am wanting to put a telephone number beneath the “Howes Housing” text in the top left hand corner. The only way I can see to make this feasible is to put the telephone number as the site tag line (the current tag line is “spacious houses to rent in harborne” and I have set it to display:none as I don’t want that shown)

My question is should I just change the tag line to the telephone number and display it, as I thought the tag line was good for searching through search engines.

Or is there another way I can get the phone number in the header area somewhere?

I wasn’t sure whether to put this in wordpress forum or css, apologies if its the wrong one!

Best is to display the description. By modifying the theme code, you can easily display the description at any location you like. Its a good way to have the phone number on top for real estate related sites.

The other option is only if your theme allows custom text in header, then you could configure that, but I think best is to modify the description code and place it elsewhere as per your requirement.

I have decided to have the telephone number in the site description and just keep it there, most prominent place in my opinion
