I have a client who wants to sell a digital product. Her shopping cart (1 shopping cart) will only handle digital downloads of <7MB (wtf) and hers is over 400MB zipped. So I need a separate service to deliver the digital product.

Changing the shopping cart entirely is not an option. I just need a delivery service.

What I’d like most is a service that integrates with PayPal. PayPal has a list of digital goods delivery services (https://cms.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/?cmd=_render-content&content_ID=developer/solutions_dgd) but I don’t know which are good and which aren’t. I really like to have a recommendation or two to go on.

What digital delivery service works well for you?

I used to use payloadz.com years ago and never had any issues with them.

The other option is to hook it up to a
simple membership script and then
add the content into the membership
area for download.

1SC does not have their own membership
system built in but they do have a pre-built
plugin for aMember so for $99 you’re done.
