Difference between a Founder and Creator

Hi

Can someone please explain me the difference between a “Founder” and a “Creator”

If you have developed a webapp/website on ur own, bought the domain, invested in webhosting and other misc purpose, would u call urself a founder or a creator of that website/webapp?

I think ,if your aim is just to create any website/webapp then u are a creator… and if your aim is to create some website/webapp and run that thing to some height and follow with passion to achieve something that makes you founder… this is what i think… well everyone has its own perceptions…

This question is truly for those who speak English natively but for me

Creator - Creates something. He has an idea, and then executes it

Founder - He may be a creator…o not. He simply provided the means to make that idea possible. That could cash, his own work, contacts… or he may even had an idea but didn’t execute himself… simply contracted the people that could do it.

Creator: founder is a person who grows or makes or invent things.and
Founder:Founder is a one who found and establishes one who lays a foundation,an author, one from whom something originates,one who endows.

  Both worked are same only title is different from each other.

You said it yourself… the creator. :slight_smile:

The word “founder” is traditionally applied to a person who starts, lays the groundwork for, or establishes some institution.

When your web site becomes an institution, you can be its founder. :slight_smile:

The fact that you have a financial risk in the site makes you an entrepreneur. :cool:

This is how I would understand it as well.
For example, you talk about the founder of a company, but the creator of a web app or web site.

I prefer calling as a “Founder” instead of “Creator” because it sounds good.
