Respond is Australia’s web design conference, produced by web directions. With topics ranging from typography, responsive design, design decisions to creativity, there was something for everyone.

Loooooved attending Respond. All the talks were really valuable to me, even the ones that went a little over my head technically. They spanned many different industries and angles too - talks from designers, developers and the advertising folk.
I particularly liked the more design-centric talks (naturally), such as ‘Simple responsive typography’ from Nabeela Ali and ‘Design Decisions Through the Lens of Performance’ from Yesenia Perez-Cruz. The talks from the advertising folk Kris Howard (‘Responsive Ads: This is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things’) and Andy Clarke (‘Counting stars: Creativity over predictability’) were also extremely controversial and interesting. I do believe the talks were recorded and should be available online at some stage? If anyone knows, please link!
There was also a lot of tweeting under #Respond15 - I admit, I contributed to that quiiiiiite a bit
