Deleting Rows in Excel 2007

Hello,

In Excel 2007, I want to automatically delete all rows that contain any instance of the following text: “/english/id/”

How would I go about doing this?

You can use find and replace text. Just select the rows and columns you want to delete the text.

It is simple to do.first select the row that you want to delete and then click on home.In the right side there is a option of Insert,Delete and Format.Click on delete drop down button and then select “delete sheet row” and selected row will be deleted.

I think you’ll find the previous suggestions involve some manual “deleting” but since you want to do it automatically, I’m not sure off the top of my head if it can be done.

But an option you might consider is to use the Filter tool in the Sort & Filter group in the Data tab. Filter will not actually delete rows that meet a criteria but will show/hide the rows you want.
