Database latency issue

Hi,

I have moved my website to another server, everything is works fine but its still have the database latency issue.
When user access the page with the database, it takes very long time to load.
I am using sql server 2008 express to manage the database.
Is this problem occurs because my database location is at another server?
Is there any suggestion to solve this latency issue?

It could be related to a remote database server. When the database is on a remote server, you have to worry about the external server’s performance and data center latency. You are not hosting with Go Daddy, are you?
