Ah! But did I not rightfully understand that the final one would overright all the previous ones or would php get confused here to which one to use ? From your hint, seems like php will choke and get confused.
So, how come one of you guys gave me all those lines in a single one of my php files, if only 1 line or error reporting code is allowed at a time or allowed per file ?
//For All Error, Warning and Notice
error_reporting(E_ALL) OR error_reporting(-1);
//For All Errors
error_reporting(E_ERROR);
//For All Warnings
error_reporting(E_WARNING);
//For All Notice
error_reporting(E_NOTICE);
And, since the following covers all then I should not bother with it:
error_reporting(E_ALL)
I thought that, the
(E_DEPRECATED)
belongs to another family of error reporting code.
But, putting attention to it, I see the “E” in them both and therefore, same family.
Ok, that is sorted.
Yeah, I just read your previous reply just now after I made that post.
Remember, I am reading one reply then replying to it.
Then moving onto another reply and then replying to that.
Not reading all replies in one go first and then replying to them all at the end.
Maybe, I should do that.
Nevermind.
Don’t bother replying.
Haven’t touched cpradio’s codeacademy.com in over a week. Been busy with this thread and it’s “web proxy building” project.
Maybe you should. It might save a lot of duplication, where you ask about things which have already been explained in a post after the one you’ve replied to.
Yeah. I will. If only I remember to. Old habit is to use the other method.
Anyway, found this link when reading up on php basics just now:
And you guys said there is no tutorial on error reporting codes.
Mind you though, that article got grammatical errors and typos. Can anyone of you spot them ? Lol!
So many typos and grammatical errors on it that made me nod off to sleep while reading it. Dropping it!
Continuing at codeacademy.com. It shows 18% tutorial complete.
I see my above link shows “1” in a circle. Guessign that is a click count and Technobear checked out the link. How-about it shows the icons of those who visited like we see of those who LIKED a post ? I did tell you I was creative. Creative on the spot. Mmm. I will add this feature onto my searchengine that will annihilate google. Good idea.
