CSS gradient problem in IE; FF and Chrome work fine

Hi everyone,

I recently got some great help for a site in these 2 threads, where I made some useful stylesheet changes.

But I’ve just noticed that the box heading titled ‘Featured Products’ at the bottom of the page has the proper gradient background in Chrome and FF, but not in IE8.

I don’t know when this issue actually appeared, but I hadn’t noticed it until just today. The gradients for other box heading on the home page and product pages seem to work fine in all browsers. Does anyone have any idea why I’m having this problem in IE?

The stylesheet entry:

.featuredProductsHeading {
 font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
 font-size: 12px;
 font-weight: bold;
 text-align: center;
 background: #95B3D7;
/* for Mozilla */
 background-image: -moz-linear-gradient(0% 70% 90deg, #687D96, #95B3D7 70%);
/* for IE6, IE7 */
 filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.gradient(startColorstr=#B1D1F1, endColorstr=#687d96);
/* for IE8 */
 -ms-filter: "progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.gradient(startColorstr=#B1D1F1, endColorstr=#687D96)";
/* for WebKit (Safari, Chrome, etc) */
 background-image: -webkit-gradient(linear, 0% 90%, 0% 45%, from(#687D96), to(#95B3D7));
 color: #ffffff;
}

Thanks

.featuredProductsHeading {
 font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
 font-size: 12px;
 font-weight: bold;
 text-align: center;
 /*background: #95B3D7;*/
/* for Mozilla */
 background-image: -moz-linear-gradient(0% 70% 90deg, #687D96, #95B3D7 70%);
/* for IE6, IE7 */
 filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.gradient(startColorstr=#B1D1F1, endColorstr=#687d96);
/* for IE8 */
 -ms-filter: "progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.gradient(startColorstr=#B1D1F1, endColorstr=#687D96)";
/* for WebKit (Safari, Chrome, etc) */
 background-image: -webkit-gradient(linear, 0% 90%, 0% 45%, from(#687D96), to(#95B3D7));
 color: #ffffff;
}

You actually have an anchor in there, as opposed to Information, for example, which inherits the background CSS property set for td.

Thanks for the help! Another simple and effective solution for my problem…
