I didn’t know that middle earth had a new year party, who knew dwarves and orc’s could sing!

PS: I’ll pass the video onto my sister, she’s the rock and metal maniac

awesome… hahaha brings back some memories from the band i formed in the 90’s… “the pukerz” we had a lot of fun :stuck_out_tongue: still have 70+ tracks from it :shifty: hahaha
I still have a half done xmas album laying around here “the pukerz tolls a bell for xmas” :stuck_out_tongue:

well, the band has been history for almost 10yrs now, as we didn’t have livers to keep it going hahaha :stuck_out_tongue:

oh aye… forgot about this but check out the Twilight of the Thunder Gods

Okay I gotta ask, what’s with viking folk metal?

It’s the new big thing. Metal+Folk=GOLD

Folk Metal, Really?

Rock n Roll \m/

hahaha hihihi

Not enamoured with this development then?

I don’t think there’s much different here to what Metallica did when they introduced clean/acoustic guitar sections in Ride the Lightening/Master of Puppets.

There’s even Irish-folk metal bands too (i’m sure I was listening to some bands on spotify recently iirc) which is just too funny to hear a fiddle played behind riffing guitars

I love folk metal. Not as much as I did back in the 90’s but still good for a listen.

Ah I see now you were referring to the age of folk metal and my comment about it being the new thing. I was referring to (what at least appeared to me) the rise in popularity they seem to be having these days. (:
