I have a website http://aub2b.com its position number 4 for “B2B” in google.com.au but when I search for Pages from Australia it does not come up. I do have servers in Australia if I moved it to be hosted locally would this affect my worldwide ranking?
I have the domain aub2b.com.au as well but I have not used it as yet, if I pointed this domain to my site would this hurt my rankings?

Yes hosting server place does affect the ranking in Google or any major search engines.
What do you think about pointing my .com.au domain to my main site as well? would it be duplicate content?
Yes i think that will be duplicate but if you redirect this then it will not consider as duplicate.
Ok well come to think of it maybe I will just make a mini site with the .com.au domain linking to my main domain
