Cold Calling and Faxing

I wanted to know if Businesses have a Do Not Call (FCC) Regulation for Faxing and Cold Calling? I was reading through the Do Not Call FCC website it doesn’t really mention anything about faxes however; a few companies i worked for were kind of skeptical sending faxes and cold calling to US businesses.

if someone has experience in this please let me know.

The Junk Fax Prevention Act of 2005 makes it a crime to send unsolicited faxes with a penalty of $500 for each violation.
