Clickable images using CSS

Hey guys,

Here’s the site:

www.blademartialarts.ca

I’m trying to figure out how to make the speech bubbles and the h3 in bottom half of the page link to a specific URL. How should I do this? Can you do it with CSS?

Here’s the CSS for the speech bubbles:

#mini-features .home-icon {
float: left;
}

Here’s the CSS for the header:

#mini-features h3 {
font-size: 18px;
padding-bottom: 10px;
}

I don’t know if this is possible with CSS, but that would be best since I can easily edit it through wordpress. Otherwise, I wouldn’t know where to start editing the PHP…

Thanks

Certainly you can make those item clickable, but adding in a anchor <a> element. But are these links to articles within the site? That really should be set up as part of the WordPress functionality. You don’t want to have to do that manually.

Yeah, links to articles within the site… There’s an option in the wordpress theme to add a “read more” link in the featured areas, but not to make the actual icons clickable…

they’re ALL linking to the same page, if that helps… That’s why I was wondering if there’s like a CSS property I can add to the #mini-features .home-icon that makes it link to a page

You need to go in and tweak the HTML a bit, just like when doing a static site, except that the code is written once and then repeated by the system. If you don’t have the WordPress files on your computer, you can access them via the control panel.

Sweet, got it. thx
