I looked forward to the actual Christmas Countdown. I am disappointed.
I don’t have, and will never, a twitter and/or facebook account. So how do I post comments? I think it is not fair to force someone to sign up to those kind of “social” network, just to be able to post comments.
from the todays offer, I already have two of them. The two others are on my wish list, but I don’t like to buy the books I have twice. Shall I wait?
I really loved the last years possibility of the self composed bundles. Do these also come this year?
I also want it but I don’t want the pdf’s. And I want to know If they have any other combination. For example with CSS live. Not CSS3 Live. I already bought that.
Hey there,
We certainly don’t expect people to sign up to Twitter or Facebook to comment.
What you have done here is perfect.
Or you can always email our support staff at support@sitepoint.com
I will get one of our Marketing team to answer your questions re upcoming deals.
Thanks for your feedback on our Christmas Countdown sale.
You’re right - this year is a bit different. We are combining printed books, ebooks, and online courses to provide a complete multi-media learning experience.
We’re aware that many of our customers already own a lot of our books. So we’re including a variety of options to cover as many people as possible.
The prices of most combo deals are lower than the price of one item on it’s own. It is possible that an item you already own may be part of a good deal on items on your wish list. Perhaps you could pass the duplicates on to a friend?
The deals this year are very different to what was offered last year. Nothing has been locked in. But we are listening to your feedback and doing our best to offer something for everyone.
At any time, if you are dissatisfied with your experience with SitePoint, or a purchase from this sale, please contact our support team. We aim to provide the best possible learning experience for all of our customers.
Jen … thank you for your reply.
I want to know if this Practical CSS will be part of any other bundle for the next 18 days Can you please tell me that?
The deals have not been locked in and I don’t want to say it will be available - and then it’s not. Likewise I don’t want to tell you it won’t be available, because we might include it.
I am not purposely being vague. Really - the deals are not locked in.
The Practical CSS course on its own costs $19.95. In today’s deal you’re getting the course bundled together with the digital versions of three of our best CSS books - for the same price as the course alone.
Yeah, but because I already have the books (“… three of our best CSS books”), I want to have a deal with the Practical CSS.
But it’s ok.
I really appreciate that you have taken your time to answer me.
So, I will wait.
Maybe I will get a deal with CSS Live, Practical CSS and JavaScript Live. This will be awesome
