According the status bar in my browser, my checkout page is taking a bit long to completely load… (click any of the cart buttons to get to shopping cart)
(Please ignore javascript errors that might be there. That code is put in place by my shopping cart host. I can’t edit it).
Well it is a bit heavy on the images, total html images weigh in at 493kb (not counting BG images).
The image on the right weighs in at 316kb by itself. Users with slower connections will be getting a slow loading page and I would say that it is due to that one image.
Your CSS is 21.6kb and the html is 13.8kb, a grand total of 528kb.
I would not say it’s real bad though, I have seen much slower loading pages.

Sorry about that, I thought it was the link you posted. 
I’d say the problem with the “checkout page” is all the third party scripts.
