My client has asked that their store be able to charge a different price for products depending on the country the customer is based.
(I’m still wrestling with the ethical question over this… it’s legit in some circumstances but in this case the client it just trying to charge more where they believe customers are willing to pay more)
Anyway, all this is of course new and was never part of the original spec. I have the store about 50% complete in x-cart but x-cart cannot handle this scenario without some serious modifications.
First off, does anybody have any experience of this sort of pricing structure, and do you know of any shopping cart software that can handle it? (preferably LAMP based)
