Changing a dropdown menu

I have a dropdown menu on my site that I would like to change slightly…First let me show you the menu, you can see it here

Is there any way that the initial list that drops down is all in one column, and then the sub menus open horizontally? What I was finding was that, because the initial drop down part is in a number of columns, my mouse was opening sub menus as I tried to get to the product group I wanted… if you get what I mean!

I know you can just click on the initial dropdown menu but I think it may be a little confusing to customers and would find it better if the initial drop down was all in one column.

If this is possible, can you help me with this? I can edit the html / php etc.
Many thanks

I’m not sure if this is what you meant but to make the dropdown one column you could just set the width of the nested ul to match teh width you set on the list. Or you coulc just set the floated list element to clear:left and it will form a single column.

ul#secondary-menu li ul {
width: auto !important;
border-radius:0 10px 10px 10px;
ul#secondary-menu ul li,
ul#secondary-menu ul li a{clear:left}

Yes it worked a treat thanks, have a look see what you think

Thanks again
