Change hyperlink colour on hover?

Hi,

How do I change the hyperlink hover colour on my sublinks?

Percoidei > Remoras

So if I were to hover over the ‘Remoras’ link in the first dropdown, its colour value would change.

Any ideas?

Many thanks

Hmm. For some reason this doesn’t seem to work with mine. I must be overriding it with something else.

Hope to report back shortly :slight_smile: Thanks again for your help.

Probably a better way is to add weight to the rule by making it more specific. E.g.

#wrapper #content ul li ul li a:hover {color: red}

I never use !important.

Here’s one way to do it:

ul li ul li a:hover {color: red}

That is, a hovered link that’s a descendant of a LI that is a descendant of an UL that is a descendant of a LI that is a descendant of an UL.

Or also

ul>li>ul>li a:hover {color: red}

In other words, a hovered link that is a child of an UL that is a child of a LI that is the child of an UL.

Great stuff. That worked a treat. I took it right back to body :slight_smile:
I removed !important and it still worked.

Thanks again sir

Cool.
I had a to add a !important after the colour declaration.

Thanks again :smiley:
