i don’t see any flag that determines an admin.
Post the code that displays the admin name, if it has a particular CSS class it should be easy to change that in your styling. I’m not downloading a zip file though, sorry.
okay this is the js
maybe you will find all there there is many files so i am posting only one here

No, I meant - you find the code that displays the admin name, and post that bit. Not post the entire thing.
there is no cods for admin iwant to add but i dont now js
Can you tell us what the source for the code was? Also, if the code involved is JS, is there any particular reason for posting it in the PHP forum?
You can check full cods here http://tutorialzine.com/2010/10/ajax-web-chat-php-mysql/
Ah, sorry, I can’t help - you just asked for how to change the colour for an admin, I hadn’t realised (as @chorn did) that the code you have doesn’t already deal with the difference between admin and “normal” users.
@Riyaz_saifi, I’d still like to understand the answer to this, so I can place the thread in the most appropriate forum.
Its not important if it will not fix i will find another one thanks for help
if you know a good ajax chat script please suggest me
Sorry, but I’ve never tried one, so am in no better place than yourself to advise on something that meets your needs.
is taigachat will work on php
Do you have a link to your chatroom?
Yes, what is needed is to see the generated HTML
If there is an attribute value, be it class or “data”, whatever, then it would be a simple matter to have CSS style that element.
If not, then I think there are two approaches
if name is in admin array
Moved to the JavaScript Forum…
yes there CSS class please you can try your self
I am using localhoat no chat link
I looked at the zip but didn’t see any HTML
Please post an example of the HTML that is output.
