I switched from a normal server with CF 7 running to a CF server with CF 8. Now the CFMAIL isn’t working any longer. No mather what I try (hard email address or email address coming from a form) it’s not working. Does anyone know what the reason can be? I don’t get any error it is simply not sending
Sorry for not updating on this. It’s working again. It seemed that the hosting company needed to set a utf-8 connection string.
We had this same issue recently. The CFMAIL component was not installed on the CF8 Server. It could be it was also not turned on.
And we get problems when we push through too many emails (>5 a minute).
CFMail is buggy but it works most of the time.
