Hi,
I am getting a little frustrated with this issue that only seems to affect IE.
Looked everywhere for a solution as I thought it would be common, but no luck.
Basically, cannot upload images into posts using IE8 browser, but fine with FF
Tried both the default flash uploader and web browser uploading options.
Client uses IE exclusively, so won’t accept switching to FF
Anyone else come across this issue with WordPress 3.01?
Thanks for any pointers,
OK, in case it helps others:
found the issue in this particular case is an outdated plugin, specifically:
http://www.instinct.co.nz/blog/2009/10/campaign-trail/
The developers are aware, and hopefully they will fix soon.
In the meantime, disabling this plugin was the fix.
Just noticed, and if it’s any help to the guru’s here, in IE I can see the following error message by clicking on the yellow alert triangle that appears in bottom-left of the browser status bar, and again not in FF browser:

Does that give anyone here a clue what’s happening?
Many thanks,
