Can you really get exposure on YouTube?

Can you really get exposure on YouTube?
If I posted a video there, would it really ever be seen?

I’ve read this more than once that YouTube get 24 hours worth of video uploaded every minute.

If you upload a video about your business, and it’s not nearly as entertaining as the entertainment videos that go viral, is it even worth uploading there? Would it really ever be found?

try to support your video with a blog post, stubmle it, tweet it, send to your friends… etc. this should help

If the video is extremely related, yes, you’ll get exposure… but if the video is misleading, expect less…

Sure you can… just look at all the videos that you notice when you first visit YouTube. Takes a little work.

The answer to that is, of course! You have to look at it from a positive angle. Sure, maybe there were 17 million websites created in 09 but how many of them are just existing? How many of them are run by people who don’t even have the basic understanding of SEO. See its all about getting your video out there. Once it gets a little attention. It will make life alot easier.

if the video you posted impacts or something like a uniqueness or talent…you surely get a chance

and it’s not nearly as entertaining as the entertainment videos that go viral, is it even worth uploading there? Would it really ever be found?

Question the assumption that the video you upload must necessarily be boring, trite and essentially irrelevant to marketing.

By definition marketing demands, if you consider YouTube, you submit effective videos for marketing purposes. If you find you can’t find anything interesting to say, marketing does suggest alternatives for redesigning and developing a marketing savvy business.

Marketing is about developing an interesting, exciting and promotable business, whether or not you choose to submit something to YouTube.

Take a look at Billy Mays. He was excited and dynamic, with a whole lot to say about what otherwise might be humdrum products. It’s not the product or service that’s the problem, it’s the whole world view of marketing and business.

Think about YouTube as a wonderful opportunity for understanding what is innately viral within you business or how to develop more interesting and desirable products and services. Get excited about your business by realigning it better for customer excitement.

Videos get seen even if they are bad, but the more your video is seen and the better your title is then the more your video will get seen. All you have to do is make your video stand out. Even ask friends to watch it and comment on it just to get it kicked off right.

If I posted a website there, would it really ever be seen?

I’ve read this more than once that 17 million websites were created in 2009 alone (http://royal.pingdom.com/2010/01/22/internet-2009-in-numbers/)

If you create a site about your business, and it’s not nearly as entertaining as the sites that go viral, is it even worth creating one? Would it really ever be found?

This is very key. Bringing traffic from other sites will help not only for exposure but also for search engines.

It is very possible however, the title of your video must be vey catchy and the keywords are strong enough for best searches. If you’re using social medias, make a link their to your video on YT.

Youtube can be an unbelievable place for exposure. Key word there is " can " . This is because uploading a video is just not enough. First major advice I would recommend is make sure you add as many keyword tags as you can to the video. This will bring your odds up for it getting views through searches. Also promote your video. Post it on other websites that have similar content. Get people you know to activley comment on it and view it. Leading people to your video will spark interest to it and it will work as a snow ball effect and the more views, the more people want to see why it is getting so much attention…which intern creates more views.

Can you sure? Will you? That depends.

Lots of videos are posted every day, only a few get the huge traffic everyone reads about but between huge and nothing is lots of area for easy win.

To be seen you need to have interesting content and a means of getting it out there. Occassionally a video “hits” because it’s just that cool but most of them are placed to big networks, sparked with a strong catalyst or a series of videos that build over time. Uploading alone won’t do it.
