Hi all,
I have started a Blog with Tangents.org powered by WordpressMU, The problem I have is that I can’t get hold of Support at Tangents.org. (Not sure if there is any) Also I would like to get my Blog looking a bit more professional, as I am very new to web design. Again I need help and assistance if at all possible. Can anyone assist?

The latest version of WordPress is version 3.0 which can be downloaded from http://wordpress.org
This version merges the MU version into the base version so it is as much an upgrade for the wordpressMU as for the single blog version.
Thanks Stephen, can I download the WP 3.0 straight on to my computer, formulate a Blog, then send for hosting? Can you explain how it works please?

I can send you the link to my blog site and ask if you could recommend, firstly how to get Google adsense adds installed. I have joined the adsense program and the ‘Plugin’ is installed (I believe) on my Blog. Secondly the tangents.org site offer an upgrade to Tangents elite, which you would have seen when you visited the site. However there is no indication after I paid for an upgrade, that it has infact been done. I can’t see any changes to the site. Appart from what they call ‘premier support’ I have tried contacting them through this but to no avail. So you may be right, may be I should try to get my own version of WP perhaps you could talk me through that process?

Just get your own hosting and install your own version of WordPress.
You can then manipulate any theme file you wish to make it look the way you want.
edit: sorry, didn’t know what tangents.org was till I went and checked it out. Can you be more specific about what problem you’re having? Does tangents allow you to edit theme files?
