If i’m mentioning my website on various social media site like facebook, tweeter etc than does it increase our back link. How it is beneficiary as a seo point of view?

In short, no.
The links will be marked as nofollow which means that search engines will ignore them, and have no influence as “back-links”. The same applies for links on forums such as this.

Any links you create yourself are worthless.
High quality backlinks are those that other people create because they think your content is worth linking to.

All the social media links are with NOFOLLOW attribute. Like the facebook profile links, google plus links and even all other social profile links. We can’t use social media for gaining the backlinks, but yes social media can be used to get direct traffic.
Social Media sites are work best for generating more traffic in a rapid time. But for backlinkg you should follow different techniques like- Q&A, Forum Backlinks, Commenting, High PR Bookmarking website and more.
I already mentioned that forums usually mark links as nofollow.
Since Google stopped giving public PR updates, how can you possibly know if any page you submit to has high PR.
Note I said “page”, not site, as PR is on a per page basis, not the whole site.
I don’t think so… Social Media is just like an added essence. To get Quality Back Links you can try Articles. To share those articles, You can use social media. That too only G+ is effective one.
I think that you can use social media for getting more traffic to your website. But in my opinion social media is already part of SEO.

So, maybe you won’t gain high quality backlinks but by using social media you will increase your authority on Google.
