Can not add - border-radius: 25px; to my css files

I can not add - border-radius: 25px; - to my css files,

When I paste it/add it to an existing css file to radius a border it remains black in color,

That is the only way to describe it, all other css lines are blue for correct/accepted code,

But - border-radius: 25px; - remains black, and will not work in my css files,

your help appreciated

Just to be clear, are you saying that your editor doesn’t show the colour you expect as correct code and that you’ve tried the code in a browser and it’s not displaying?

If so, we’d need to see a link to the page, or the full code.

Hello TechnoBear,

thank you for your reply, yes you are correct correct code should change to blue,

I use Smart FTP for editing files, if the css code is correct it changes from black to blue,

Yet border-radius: 5px; remains black

I have just added - border-radius: 5px; to my tooltops css and even though black it does work

So I will not continue this inquiry,

thank you

Perhaps post an example of your CSS (the content for the border radius) so we can see if there are any errors.

It could also be that you are using an old editor that doesn’t recognize newer CSS properties.

My vote is on this.

Hello ralphm and RyanReese,

Yes that is very possible, my Smart FTP is an older version,

Thank you to you both for that suggestion
