Bullets missing in IE7

Hi,

Can anyone help me find out why the bullet point on the following page is missing:

http://www.freemanholland.com/other-services

If you look in IE7, all 4 of the tabs contain a <ul> list, in firefox the bullet points appear fine, why are they missing in IE?

Thanks

Thanks Paul! Appreciate it… :wink:

The element can’t have haslayout either so you have to set the width with margins if needed.

It looks as though you have over constrained the width with a narrow parent div anyway.

#tab-intro div{width:auto}
#smaller-ul li {
    font-size: 12px;
    float:none;
    width:auto;
}

Thanks Paul,

It seems to be showing most of bullets but not all of them? For example this page:

http://www.freemanholland.com/other-services

Bullet starting “Dedicated project manager…”

Any ideas why this is?

The bullets are missing because you have floated the list items and in ie6/7 when you float the element it’s display is changed to block instead of display:list-item and hence the bullet doesn’t show.

Don’t float the list when you want bullets or numbers.

#smaller-ul li {
    font-size: 12px;
    float:none
}
