What versions of Opera and Safari does everyone test in?
I was trying to find browser usage statistics broken down by version, but was unsuccessful in my search. Anyone know if that data can be found anywhere?
Thanks,
Christian

I’ve forgotten which browsers auto update now, so not sure about Safari and Opera. But most people seem to keep those fairly up to date, I would think (and let’s face it, hardly anyone uses them anyway.)
Here are some recent stats:
I test with the latest version in opera and safari. Maybe one less than the latest version, if I didn’t happen to update them myself yet. Since those browsers have update notification messages, I don’t worry about it too much.
For Firefox, I test in 3.6.x and the latest version.
For Chrome, I’ll test with the latest version.
For IE, IE9, IE8, IE7, and IE6 (just to make sure it’s reasonably functional. I won’t waste too much time getting IE6 to work)
I can’t say I’ve had any complaints by following that regimen of testing.
Alright cool. That’s my exact testing procedure too. Thanks.
