Breaking into JavaScript then node.js

I am looking for a good beginners book to read about JavaScript with tutorials. Unfortunately my local bookstore did not have much a selection, only intermediate to advanced choices. If their was a read you liked, and also talks about node.js that would be excellent! Please feel free to comment!
