Blogs and blog posts

ok so if i am posting on a blog in the comments and i add my URL does each post count as a backlink? or if one domain and that’s it? how does it work regarding SEO?

Each post is a separate webpage. But getting links from the same domain will not give you much seo benefits. Try to do more comments on different blogs than on the same blog.

commenting on different webpages but of same domain may not give u much instead of a single baclink, only if its do follow.
If ur SEO strategies are just based to get baclinks then u should only comment on Do follow blogs and once on one domain( Do follow blogs are rare to get). But there are times when no follow blogs can also add a backlinks to ur site.

If I were you, I’d forget comment posting for SEO. If the post you’re commenting on has any “power”, eventually all the other SEO spammers will drop there own links, thereby diluting yours. Plus, comment links are usually nofollowed.

Is it really true that one can not comment on blog after doing once on that, i have heard this first time.

Try to comment on a single blog of a domain. If you comment on many blogs of the same domain, the moderator might not approve your comment.

Rubbish.

The likelihood of your comment getting rejected depends on the quality of the comment, not the quantity.

What’s a “do follow attribute”?

what do i do then if i shouldn’t post on blogs?
they have follow links. the same was told about forum posts.

now how do i get backlinks?

Create something so good on your site that people trip over themselves trying to link to it.

yeah the majority of the time it doesn’t happen. i really doubt that you are just trying to give advice here. i fully heartily you are being malicious.

I guess it’s the opposite of “nofollow”?

This might have sounded cheeky but it’s the best advice you’re going to get all day!

Hooperman is right, your main objective should be to create content on your website that is relevant, unique, interesting to users then people will naturally want to link to it, rather than you trying to find places to drop links on.

A backlink is just a link back to your site. The main value and main reason for them is to to provide a way for interested people to get to your site. Not to get better SERP results. It amazes me how many waste so much time and energy looking for an easy way to game the system when if they concentrated on doing what hooperman suggested they’d get results.
The majority of the time it doesn’t happen? That’s because too many don’t bother trying.
Doubt if it’s advice, being malicious? Not at all. Sound advice, and the hard cold reality of it are just hard for most to accept.

unfortunately people aren’t so wild and crazy about point of sale systems. also what about photography? can only take good photos and hope the best.

As long as it’s a do follow link.

Well not all people, but your target market is.

If I wanted to buy, or learn about point of sale systems, what unique and relevant information about them is on your website?

Think about it from Google’s point of view - Why should your site rank high in google for that niche?

Think about it from other websites’ point of view (who you want backlinks from) - Why should they link to your content?

most of them sell it so they don’t provide any information whatsoever, these systems cost about $20,000 depending on the hardware so everything is explained in person. information on the systems? it is all in the blog that the site runs.

You can share your each post or page to socila media.

No, but they’ll link to your amusing story about the chirpy grandmother who foiled thieves in her store by smashing them over the head with a POS register. The build quality of that machine ensured a two day headache.

If you want to get links, you might also want to proofread your content. This is riddled with spelling mistakes and is generally badly written. It looks unprofessional and will attract only the weakest links ™. Don’t take this personally. Just make your content better.
