i want to apply to registration option on my wordpress blog anybody help me how i do this action

In the wordpress admin dashboard in General setting, you have an option to allow Users Registration and you have to choose between 2 options :
Subscribers : mean that the users will only Register to your blog and that’s all
Editors : mean that the users can Write content on your blog
