I notice alot of news channels, or blogs talking about current events or whatever it is copy one another but do not do this word for word. Is it ok to create content on your own blog that is rewritten?
Do you mean “Will adsense penalize me for hosting stolen content and trying to trick them into thinking it’s original?”
I guess as long as you just want some quick short-term income you might make enough to offset any legal fees that might come your way before you get shut down. But why not put your efforts into something more legitimate and long-term?

You see there is multiple blogs talking about the exact same thing, all of them reworded the blog, so is this illegal?. Or against Google’s TOS?. Show me the exact quote from the TOS stating this and I will rest my case. I am not saying it shouldnt be against the TOS but I just want to know.
I have no doubt that many such examples can be found. And until they get caught or reported I’m sure they make some money, else why would so many do it?

That depends on how much rewritten are you talking about, Google doesn’t like duplicate content. The best way is to create your own unique and quality content, then you will get a lot of traffic from search engines as well as return visitors to your site.
