Better RHEL Package Repositories

We are sinning up some new boxes and the project team wants Linux. The host we are working with supports RHEL only, project team wants PHP 5.4 and MySql 5.5 which aren’t in the official RHEL repos as far as I can tell, is there any reliable repository folks are using to get newer versions on red hat?

I did a google search and came up with http://iuscommunity.org/pages/Repos.html

Quote from their about page:

The IUS Community Project is aimed at providing up to date and regularly maintained RPM packages for the latest upstream versions of PHP, Python, MySQL and other common software specifically for Redhat Enterprise Linux. IUS can be thought of as a better way to upgrade RHEL, when you need to.

Thanks, stumbled upon them too but I haven’t seen any evidence they are particularly good or even who they say they are . . .

Yeah, I’m not a RHEL user myself, so I was just basing it on search results. Personally, I’d go the route of compiling the versions I need instead of finding a third party repo.
