hi mates…
just curious to know the views of you guys regarding what is the best technique for online marketing… share your views…

thanks
Since the search engine companies change their products every week, you can imagine that it is nearly impossible to stick to one technique that would do everything.Till today, forum is considered the strongest channel to influence people. Blogs are also making their way to becoming influential at presenting ideas. Along with forums and blogs, social networking sites like Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and Social bookmarking sites like Digg, StumbleUpon and Delicious are rising as an influential platform
Social networking site do helps a lot in online marketing… Activity participating in communities, blogging, using social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter can provide your product and services a maximum exposure. As well as, it is good for SEO prospective also will performing this activities you get quality back-links and helps in optimizing your targeted keywords too…
There is no “one size fits all” marketing technique. As others have said, what works for some does not necessarily work for others. I think the best online marketing is the one that works BEST for YOU and your site. Unfortunately you will have to resort to trial and error to determine that. Remember that the effectiveness of a marketing campaign depends on a number of different factors which contribute to its success, or in some instances its demise. All too often I run into newbies who make the mistake of listening to SO and SO, and following their recommendations to the nitty gritty bit of it, only to fail. Gurus books and recommendations are meant to be digested, taken apart, analyzed and then used as a guide and NOT to be implemented literally. What worked for that person does not entail it will work for you!
Thanks guys…I am looking to use MSN for marketing…lets c how it works… will keep informing you guys…
hmmm…but what is the best way for marketing yahoo, msn , facebook, google or some else???
You’re looking for the answer from the back of the book. There is no best way.
Depends on your business. Depends on your target customer. Depends on your knowledge of marketing. Depends on your skill in execution. Depends on your budget.
If you execute poorly, even the best technique won’t work. If you master something that doesn’t happen to be this week’s fad, you can still make a lot of money.
Start by knowing your customer better than the competition, then putting that knowledge to work by differentiating your business and doing what competitors aren’t.

Why don’t you learn the basic fundamentals of online marketing first? Check out some of the “guru” blogs that are available. A lot of them have rehashed information, but you’ll learn a few things.
Alternatively you can find other forums and communities that are dedicated to internet marketing. Read them and start taking action.

I’m a newbie but just on this forum… Providing above mentioned services to my clients from past 8 years.
Using one technique at a time is almost insuring failure. Your customers don’t search for one term, don’t visit one site, don’t go through one path. You need to diversify to create a marketing experience that hits customers at different points… even if it’s a small campaign you’ll benefit by trying more than one thing at once.
The techniques or strategies are all useful. It will just depend how you would handle those strategies. The more strategies, the more chances to reach the success.
depends, some techniques work to others well while some having hard time on it…for me i find success in forums, commenting and qa sites
