I just resized 330 images in PS CS4 with batch processing. AmAZING and easy.

These were the thumbnails. Now I need to make the larger images the user will see when they click on the thumbnails. The problem is, instead of each image being cropped to 200 x something (fixed) I just want to take the size down about 200 pixels on each image. Is there a way to do that? The images are different shapes and sizes.

I tried to do that recently and found Ps not very good for this (unless I missed something). I ended up using some free programs I found on the web—ezThumbs for Windows and ResizeMe for Mac. What I did with these is set a maximum width and maximum height for all images, and let them find their own size based on those settings. It is amazing to see hundreds of images resize in the blink of an eye.
